Drawings in Teodosio

The building was built by my dad in the 1970s; he was a surveyor but mostly an artist.
The apartment is now my property and I wanted to pay homage to my parents.
In the entrance hall I hung two panels correlating an exhibition of my father's beautiful silver sculptures and displayed some pieces from my mother's curious collection of elephants, which in the past had even been a guest of the Royal Palace.
On the walls hung works by artist friends and some of my own works, a textile design depicting the Duomo, a symbol of Milan that I love so much, and some "Sinister Animals."
"Sinister" because they were executed with my left hand and sometimes even closing my eyes....
I was exasperated by the constant demand and search for beauty and precision in my work as a designer for upholstery fabrics; it had become a real professional deformation that was imprisoning me.
So I decided to look for another style-and I found it in my left hand.
A lover of animals, I thus began this quest by drawing female specimens of each species with their cubs.
That is why Drawings in Theodosius.
I renovated the apartment without changing the structure, the doors, and the beautiful marble floor,
thus retaining some of its 1970s style.
Antique and modern alternate in the decor creating a warm but functional atmosphere, and a nice soft light welcomes you.
